"Consider this too -- with the ten player limit sometimes writers have to vote strategically to keep a guy on the ballot they think is worthy but fear he may fall off. Why waste a vote on Chipper Jones in [--] (hes almost certainly getting 90-95% regardless) when you can toss it to Andruw Jones to help him stay above 5% Then in the following years maybe the ballot isnt as crowded and Andruw can receive all of his supporters votes.
