When I sell a cash-secured put on a stock its #1 because Id like to own a bit more on a 10-20% correction (typically) & 2) if I collect a premium and dont get the stock thats a great return on my MM$. I treat it like getting paid for a GTC buy order at a lower price. Because post Covid traders are bidding up options like nothing Ive seen in [--] years of my career before Im making 20%+ on cash that only buys stocks on 10-20% dips.
