"There is a science lab onboard the @Space_Station called the Life Sciences Glovebox. Its one of the places we conduct biological and life science experiments in a controlled environment. It can control temperature humidity and even has a negative pressure environment so we can work with hazardous materials. Recent experiments in the LSG include a study to determine how bone cells can respond to various conditions in microgravity and determining if higher fidelity protein crystallization in space can yield more effective drugs. Heres a short video describing what it is and how we deploy it"

"The Kp index is a measure of the strength of a geomagnetic storm and it was XXX (max is X see screenshot). I had never seen it that high. Suffice to say we were all excited though NASA was concerned of the additional radiation we would receive. Luckily much of the space station protects us from excessive radiation"

"M+147: One of the science experiments that SpaceX CRS-33 brought aboard is the Microgravity Associated Bone Loss-B study which studies bone-forming adult stem cells in microgravity providing us a better understanding of the basic mechanisms of bone loss in space. This research also contributes to our understanding of bone loss on Earth potentially providing ways for us to prevent and treat bone degenerative diseases like osteoporosis. This is how we conduct science in the Life Sciences Glovebox"

"Yesterday we had our change of command as Sergei Rhyzikov handed over command of the ISS to Mike Fincke. Sergei did an excellent job as commander of the space station and after getting to know MIke over the last X months I know hell lead with strength integrity and grace. As the US orbital segment lead over the last X months the thing Im most proud of is not the amazing science we conducted or the myriad of other accomplishments during this mission but for being a part of creating a safe positive culture where we enabled each other to be the best versions of ourselves. Over our first weekend"
