This version is very different than 12.3.6 and other previous versions. Its more of a v13 lite than anything else. Those who have it know that itll stop for squirrels crossing the road. Here are some tests I did with a similar ball using FSD v12.6.4"

Unsupervised FSD will easily be solved with AI4 or AI5. This is what's creating the confusion / questions. He stated how it might get boredin the last earnings call. To your point skies and wind conditions havent changed but planes have greatly improved. A lot of the innovation has been on the physical designs not the computers (I checked w/ Grok). Elons post was missing a ton of context. I believe AI6 AI7 AI8 etc. will mainly come in handy for Optimus and flying cars"
