"You should go pay for and read the full article on ProCap BTC Pompliano's treasury company. Interesting (bleak) stuff. $CCCM"

"@gnoble79 @APompliano I haven't dug into the mNAV numbers on $BRR. NYDIG did write an excellent piece recently arguing many of the mNAV calcs used in the industry are wrong. They show $BRR's mNAV for illustrative purposes but the figures may be dated at this point"

"MSTRs cash reserve is an acknowledgment that public markets dont work like your spreadsheets portend. Markets can move in unpredictable ways disconnected from math or fundamentals over periods of time. If they did operate that way MSTR would simply sell BTC/common as needed to finance dividends. Its a good move by MSTR IMO. Relatedly its why saying BTC CAGR just needs to outperform the cost of capital misses that the market may not give you the opportunity to test out your decade-long hypothesis. As each higher mNAV buyer loses relative to BTC you lose that investor. Iterate enough and mNAV"

"Can't wait to see all the shareholder value that flows from hiring strategic advisors to strategically advise on "ESG best practices for the adoption of Bitcoin at scale." 🤦♂"

"On the point on funneling XX% of NAV into BTC every year wouldn't they only be able to add the value of XX% of the increase in NAV from the prior year if they are targeting XX% amplifcation Say they hit that amplifcation target and BTC goes up XX% that year then they can add XX% of the XX% increase to get back to the XX% amplification. Or 7.5%"

"One problem with $MSTR is the incongruence between Saylor saying that hes in a decades-long game of building a monster to save all of the world from fiat debasement plagued capital markets etc etcand the way the company actually acts. Daily tweeting of AI generate images to keep retail sentiment afloat bi-weekly adjustments to the business plan unending podcast tours pitched responses to the latest market news etc etc. The businesses (or funds) that believe in the fundamental value they provide and are focused on the long term interest of shareholders do not operate this way and dont feel any"

"I don't believe any of these guys when they suggest they'll build some novel profitable business. If they could have done it they would have done it separate from the BTC SPAC process as there's no need for a specific treasury company structure. Tether did it. I guess Strike did it but have no idea what their financials look like. Also people seem to think you can just fold one company into another because they have similar management. Obviously the investors in Strike are going to want a nice premium if the company is being sold"

"Really didn't see $STRF getting this low at current BTC prices. Think BTC needs to drop below $15k for $MSTR to be unable to satisfy the STRF liquidation preference after repaying debt. Is it a buy"

"Interesting. What I see a bit of with XXI and others is a form of argument from authority. These guys may not have a business plan but look at all these powerful well connected people involvedhow can they not be massively successful But of course there are many instances of massive failures by companies run by renowned smart people"
