"I feel like everything is slowly breaking and I really started noticing it during Covid. I personally feel like it is breaking faster now. This morning I went to a big gas station to pick up unsweetened iced tea on the way to work and and the gas station I go to (And it is struggling): They were out of FOUR types of fountain soda. They generally have 40-50 croissants biscuits etc. Today zero. They have a big display of donuts I walk by on my way to the register. None were iced. The donut company must have ran out of icing and delivered them anyway"

"Everything is slowly breaking and things are starting to break faster. I called McAfee and cancelled my anti virus protection since I got rid of that computer. So they of course auto renewed it. I had to call today and the person I talked to was professional and apologized and hopefully will be able to efficiently return our money on the credit card. Seriously how hard can it be for a phone agent to correctly cancel an account when you call them Note I am pretty sure todays phone agent did a good job. Their chatbot was awful and immediately told me to call such and such a number. The wildest"

The CPA's in my office have been doing taxes for over XX years and between us we have NEVER had a client who day traded and made more money day trading than they would have made buying and holding. "Prior to President Trump taking office 102000 people worked at the IRS. Down to 74000 when Government shutdown X days ago. Now 40000 are working and 36000 furloughed. And Republicans passed a new and complicated new tax code in July of 2025. What could go wrong If President Trump stupidly decides to fire the 36000 people furloughed and he won't it is time to retire. Can you even imagine the damage that would cause If this happens who is retiring with Karena and I @AccountingAsArt is already in.
