"You can do a lot of that stuff for hitters who slump and are not great defensively. Walls isnt special there. The team signed HSK in offseason to ween off of Walls. He hasnt been healthy. What do you want the Rays to do They dont have a potent offense right now. Cabbys bat is not Walls defense so with the personnel you have you have to play the run prevention game. Its a bad series at a bad time. Considering he is a +17 DRS Im going to give him a break. But when you have a lineup that isnt supported around him his spotlight gets larger 🤷🏻♂"

"With Kelly the sinker is his money pitch. But he has throttled down on the sweeper for a little more cutter and fastball. The cutter I'm not in love with. The fastball is too much of an unknown. So if the sweeper can't get back to form all he has is the sinker. And MLB hitters are too good to make the pitch-mix that simple for them. IMO he should have been sent down awhile ago to fix him up because he has never looked the same since that early season injury. There has been some bad luck in there but certainly not enough to be this stubborn. This isn't like Uceta who doesn't have options."

"Since July X Josh Lowe is 3-for-38. Good for an .079 batting average. His season OPS is now south of .700. He's had some horrible luck. His BABIP is .284 when he's usually in .330ish range. K% is very encouraging. He should have a nice week at some point but man. This is a really bad stretch"
