"We appreciate your objectivity. However I do think your opinion has changed right The reason I ask is because I had a lot of the same opinions as you for the longest time on $LMND. I think the valuation could look expensive or cheap here depending on how you analyze it. I could make a case for either or. In the long term I am confident it will be worth multiples of what it is now"

"The term MOAT is overused. What you should think about is the following: 1) What value is the company bringing Are they simplifying a process for the consumer or solving a problem 2) Branding is just as important as having a competitive edge. Both can get disrupted but branding carries more stability in the long term. This isnt to say MOAT isnt important because it is. With the rise of AI and technology as a whole the amount of MOAT a company can have is diminishing. When I think about this discussion $PYPL comes to mind. You could argue they dont have a MOAT due to the competitiveness in the"

"This $PYPL downgrade by Wolfe research was only a couple weeks ago (if that). They will probably have to adjust this sooner than theyd like. The funny thing is that the valuation is so depressed that even if TTM revenue growth stays under XX% (say 5-8%) - the fair value is still a double from these prices given the bottoming of take rates operating margins ticking up ads business starting brain tree reverting back to growth buybacks FCF stabilizing and SMB efficiencies starting to show. "The real reason I haven't invested in hyper-scalers like $CRWV at these levels. Right now investors in data centers/AI aren't worried about profitability. If they are its based on "Adjusted EBITDA" which can be useful in the right circumstances. But in the case of data center plays most of them are only able to recognize revenue when their GPUs are rented out by third parties. That might work during a hype AI cycle but what happens when you have an extremely high fixed cost base and growth pulls back $CRWV has been adjusting their depreciation cycle to lower their annual expense from X years"

"As a $ROOT shareholder I acknowledge the Carvana partnerships critical role in embedded insurance growth. For those who dont know embedded insurance integrates coverage into a customers purchase typical at the point of sale for a related product (i.e auto insurance during a car purchase). For Root this is exemplified by Carvana Insurance Built with Root offered during Carvanas online checkout across 30+ states. "The bear view that $PYPL shouldnt be buying back stock here just goes to show the lack of understanding with capital allocation. Its not rocket science. As a CFO you have two scenarios as long as your debt is manageable (which in the case of PayPal - it is): 1) Buy back shares when your stock is trading significantly below fair value. 2) Do a capital raise when your stock is extremely overvalued. $PYPLs after cost of debt is around X% and the debt burden is minimal to earnings when you factor in the tax advantages. Additionally most of the debt isnt maturing until after 2026 so it isnt a"

You are up on your shares and think its going to drop back down to $XX so you sell calls at a $XX strike price a couple weeks out. They crush earnings and the stock runs up to $20+. Youre new to options and dont know how to manage them (roll) so you lose your shares at $XX while the stock runs to $30+. The business comprises two main segments: IL MAKIAGE: A premium makeup brand with AI-powered shade matching and a strong DTC presence. Their branded checkout has room for improvement and I hear you about the fraud aspect of it. It doesnt take a person with an audit background to know they have some IT control issues. "Conclusion/My Thoughts I was originally invested in $ODD at $XX but ended up selling at $XX for a better opportunity at the time. With the recent drop (for no apparent reason) I believe $ODD offers a lot of value in an overextended market. They have a sticky DTC business that has proven cash flows and resilience in an uncertain tariff environment. Even in the event of a recession they have a strong balance sheet and the beauty sector has remained strong in weaker economic times (even the more expensive brands). The top risks (in my opinion) are delays in their new brands and customer reviews"

"Good question. Oran answered this on a call and mentioned that his ownership % got too large considering he owned more than XX% and he wanted to reduce it. The stock was also trading in a smaller range $30-40 for a while and it ran up to the $70s relatively quickly. Their SBC isnt as high as other companies and I dont blame him for giving himself a pay day. That being said theres a reason that I didnt buy at $XX. It wasnt extremely overvalued but at these prices I think you have at least a 10-15% margin of safety"

"Not going to lie the comparison between $ROOT and $LMND is exhausting. It was the same conversation when $OSCR was trading much lower and look where its trading now. If your company is firing on all cylinders you shouldnt have to convince anyone to buy a certain stock over another one it should be evident. As a shareholder of both I could make the case for either one. $ROOT s focus on telematics in auto and pricing precision mirrors $LMND s push for efficiency and disruption just in different capacities. I never recommend going into margin but there are times when it can make sense to use a small amount if you have enough experience. My friendly advice: 1) Learn to buy compounders like $LMND with a margin of safety. I.E buying at $30-40 was a significant discount (not to say it is extremely overvalued here).
