".@readJerome was spot on about how the historic rise in gold prices this year has taken the pressure off the government of Ghana. Gold prices skyrocketed allowing the Bank of Ghana to secure more forex to intervene in the market and drive significant appreciation of the cedi which in turn had downstream effects on inflation. Cedi is good Ghanaians are happy. There hasnt been much focus on the governments flagship programs yet. The new administration in 2017 had fresh oil money; the new administration in 2025 has historic gold prices. The president and his ministers are probably thanking God"
