"Leeds will do well to get anything from a Premier League game when their forward line is Harrison Lewin Aaronson. They are relatively strong in defence and midfield but we have to admit there's a distinct lack of genuine quality going forward"

"I have considered using a different scoring system for Cup wins with FA and European Cup still 5/3/1 and League Cup other European competitions 4/2/1 or something like that. I'm keeping them the same as they are all major trophies and it evens itself out. Notts Forest beat Malmo and Manchester beat Brighton. They're cups after all and many of the Fairs/Uefa cups were arguably harder to win that European Cups. So there really"

"Leeds United are a footballing anomaly. They came from nowhere took over the world and then pretty much disappeared other than the occasional season. Before disappearing forever as a serious club. Everton are more interesting as even before this golden era they had always been challenging. I wonder if their collapso in the moneyball era was in some way due to Liverpool also ceasing to win trophies for a long period. They would have the odd horror season but always bounce back with a strong side challenging for honours until the 90s. With this fantastic new stadium there must be every chance"

"The knowledgeable Leeds United fans applauded this fine goal. As they also applauded the fabulous Liverpool side of Dalglish with John Barnes later in the season and then a couple of years later they applauded Glasgow Rangers off the pitch after they knocked them out of the European Cup. Yet the scum media and the dribblers who believe that propaganda still pretend the club is followed by far right thugs"
