"$ASTS My question stands Is ast space mobile welcoming new investors and informing them the risks Or is it a place for seasoned investors"

"@Defiantclient2 @silberschmelzer @endless_frank @spacanpanman @ASTS_SpaceMob @kingtutcap @ASTS_Investors Cool and why am I still waiting for answers on my questions and gets almost zero debate instead of some name calling. I was talking to another guy who is no expert and just regurgitate like somebody taught him to say it"

"$ASTS Me realizing after trusting the shepherds that they have no clue about what they are talking about. Space is hard and a bunch of FURUs and pumpers with a finance degree or online trading degree has no clue about orbital interference zero gravity and radiational impact on first of kind 2400 sq ft satellite. Its own me if I expected a bunch of day traders and chart analysts is going to answer any real space questions"

"$ASTS After discussions with various experts in the Spacemob community here are my conclusions. Decide for yourselves. 1) Why is FM2 launch readiness delayed Space is hard were trying to make it perfect. But Im wondering: you dont have the FM2 with stainless steel box ready yet youve already started mass manufacturing composite satellites with ASICs when we dont even know if the ASICs are ready. Forget about the middle composite version with FPGA. Trust me bro Abel hasnt sold any shares. 2) Dont they have to go through all testing and validation again once they switch to ASICs Its pretty easy"

"$LPTH BlackDiamond (BD) is the only U.S.-manufactured chalcogenide glass that offers a clear advantage over Germanium for infrared cameras because it is much cheaper lighter thermally stable and scalable. Unlike Germaniumwhich is expensive heavy thermally unstable and largely China-controlledBD can be precision-molded for high-volume production maintains focus across temperature swings and supports compact rugged camera designs. These attributes make BD especially attractive for defense UAV missile and counter-UAS systems where cost weight reliability and trusted domestic supply chains matter"

"$LPTH LightPaths BlackDiamond competes mainly with foreign chalcogenide glass suppliers not other U.S. firms. The primary competitor is SCHOTT (Germany) which makes IRG-series chalcogenide glasses used in European defense and industrial thermal cameras. Umicore (Belgium) also produces chalcogenide materials mainly for industrial and automotive applications. Chinese suppliers (e.g. Vital Materials) manufacture chalcogenide glass and Germanium at lower cost but are non-viable for U.S. defense due to export controls and supply-chain risk. Major U.S. optics players (e.g. Coherent/II-VI) focus on"

"I bought TSLA a few months ago after a long time and I think they have mostly solved FSD and its at an inflection point. You are betting on the Cybercabs and Optimus for a 10x return and not the cars sales and profit to compound annually. Its also not smart to put all your eggs on Tesla as their timeline will keep moving"

"I think your hatred of Tesla is blinding you preventing you from seeing the possibilities others see and why people believe in it. Call me whatever you want but I'm betting on them to solve FSD and revolutionize transportation. As for your shared-car argument there can be various service levels. For the rich you could have a personal Tesla parked at your house ready to chauffeur you anywhere allowing you to talk attend meetings or sleep while it drives itself"

"Great arguments Jim and I don't have answers for it.If people can make money running their own mini data centers they will do it similar to how folks are still running the mini bitcoin mining setup even though bigger players make more money per $ spend. What do you think will happen to the value proposition of data centers with ready power if we can get abundant energy for minimal cost (for ex: OKLO is able to scale successfully or solar panel efficiency improves and storage cost comes down)"

"@elpistollero_ @ryansfinance I will change my opinion if they can sell the compute to AI companies directly but they are instead selling the infrastructure to MSFT similar to IREN. Their orchestration ability is only valuable if sold directly to ai companies and not renting out to hyper scalers"

"I think we can all agree that this is a capital intensive effort. X GW won't get us any share holder return until IREN spend money to buy GPUs and build data center. We will get out sized return after the pay back period. It's going to be muted if the demand for GB300 and Data center with power connection depreciates after X years. The chance of that is low but non zero hence it's not a guaranteed investment. What am I missing here. Even if I give XX% chance that the demand will stay same and GB XXX will have some value we will make 5x-10x return and provides an attractive risk reward. What"

"@AnotherZeldaFan Wouldnt be a bad idea. Half colo should provide them with money to buy the GPUs"

"IREN is better as they are vertically integrated and NBIS will have to depend on colo providers and reduces their margin on deals with hyper scalers. Both can win if the AI demand continue to grow like what we are experiencing. I think TE is a short term play on their ability to build the next factory and some of the financial shenanigans going on with their balance sheet. I dont see how they can compete with any large manufactures like FSLR or Chinese suppliers( if Tariff is ever reduced) without any technological differentiation in the long term. Not my type of investment"

"Expect more Data centers to follow the same route with batteries. Thats why I am betting on American made fire safe utility scale battery $EOSE. You can have these batteries near gas plants and nuclear plants in addition to data centers and have the plants run 24/7 at peak efficiency without curtailment and not having to worry about thermal runaway similar to Lithium batteries. Talen Energy is considering it"

"What worries me most as an $IREN investor is that nobody knows what the AI landscape will look like in X years. Will those DCs and GB300s be worth a lot more as demand and energy usage continue rising along a similar curve or will innovations and investments in energy over the next X years make them worth a lot less"
X Link 2025-12-14T03:13Z XXX followers, 20.6K engagements

"Its a bet on increasing demand for AI as we know it (lots of power-hungry data centers). If the demand curve grows or continues like the current trend IREN is grossly undervalued. The risk is that new innovations and investments in power could upend the AI landscape as we know it in the next X years. Place your bet"
