"Another day another crypto hack: balancer got drained because of a bad access check in the manageUserBalance function on v2. the attacker called a protected function called WITHDRAW_INTERNAL and the code that was supposed to stop them was basically checking the attackers id against a value they could set themselves. so yeah they just whitelisted their own exploit. whos affected anyone providing liquidity in balancer v2 pools. also forks like beethoven (optimism) and beets (sonic) since they use the same contracts. whos fine balancer v3 pools are safe according to the team. about aave people"
