"When Walt was asked about why the Matterhorn had holes in it (for the skyway) he liked to answer Because its a Swiss mountain. 🧀 Walt originally wanted the mountain to be a toboggan ride creating their own snow for it. Joe Fowler explained that it would be nearly impossible to maintain the snow in the hot SoCal climate and that drainage would also be a problem so Walt abandoned that idea.
